The New Year is quickly approaching and the time to celebrate is now. WSOP.com wants to push the celebrations in the right direction and will be throwing a series of special $22 buy-in, $2,022 guaranteed tournaments from December 23 to December 31.
Not only will players in these games have a chance to win a share of a lucrative prize pool that may well offer overlays, but they will also have a chance to enter a special drawing and win one of the twenty $250 Visa gift cards that Santa has in store for the most loyal of WSOP.com players.
Entering any of the special $22 tournaments during the promotional period will award you one entry into the drawing, which will be held on January 3.
Twenty lucky players will be awarded a $250 Visa gift card, which is as good as cash for all intents and purposes. Not only will the special New Year’s tournaments be super fun to play in, but the extra prizes given on top are sure to make your holiday season jollier.
Harrah’s Las Vegas Online Circuit Event
December will bring around the final WSOP Circuit event of the year, and this one will be held completely online, at WSOP.com, for players from New Jersey and Nevada to compete in.
The Harrah’s Las Vegas Online Circuit Event will run between December 8 and 19 and will award 12 WSOPC Gold Rings in total, along with at least $1 million in guaranteed prize money.
The Player of the Month leaderboard will be running during the event, with the top 10 finishers chopping the prize pool of $10k, paid out in tournament tickets, and the winner also getting a free entry into the $250,000 Year End Championship Event.
Ring winners and the top 10 finishers in the $10k Player of the Month race will get to compete in an exclusive $25k freeroll, while all players who enter at least three Gold Ring events will get to compete in a Grinder’s Only Second Chance Freeroll, with the winner getting a seat in the $250,000 Year End Championship event.
The Gold Ring events themselves will feature buy-ins ranging from $215 to $2,000, with the Main Event featuring a $525 entry fee and a $250k guaranteed prize pool.
BLAST and SNG Leaderboards
Fans of the BLAST and SNG poker formats will have a chance to win plenty of extra cash this December, as the operator is throwing special weekly leaderboards for both games.
BLAST players will have a chance to win a share of $1,000 in tournament tickets each week from November 30 to December 27, on top of potentially winning up to 10,000x their buy-in through the BLAST tournaments themselves.
On the other hand, all SNG players will be entered into a separate leaderboard during the same time period, sharing in yet another prize pool worth $1,000 in tournament tickets each week. Top 15 finishers on the leaderboard each week will receive their chunk of the overall leaderboard prize money.
