The New York Jets have announced a multi-year partnership with up-and-coming sports betting site Fubo Sportsbook, which is set to launch in the final quarter of this year.

The partnership is Fubo Sportsbook’s first with a professional sports team. The central part of the agreement calls for building a Fubo Sportsbook Lounge at MetLife Stadium, the Jets’ home stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Once launched, the Fubo Sportsbook Lounge will become the first authorized retail and mobile sports betting lounge in the stadium.

“This partnership with Fubo Sportsbook is another major step for the New York Jets in our journey to prioritize engagement with our fan base, including the enhancement of their overall stadium experience on game day,” said Jeff Fernandez, the Jets’ vice president for business development and ventures.

“With Fubo Sportsbook, Jets fans will be treated to their innovative mobile viewing and wagering platform, which will be brought to life at the dynamic new Fubo Sportsbook Lounge.”

The new lounge is expected to be approximately 7,000 square feet in size. Neither the team nor Fubo Sportsbook said where the lounge would be located within the stadium, which opened in 2010 and is also home to the NFL’s New York Giants.

All visitors to the MetLife Stadium over the age of 21 will have access to the lounge, with all NFL games shown in real time and the ability to bet live or via the mobile Fubo Sportsbook app. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy various promotional offers by the bookmaker and enjoy the view of home games from the lounge’s outdoor patio.

Additional Perks of the Partnership

On top of the launch of the Fubo Sportsbook Lounge, the two have agreed to partner on a number of other matters.

As the team’s first legal sports betting partner, Fubo Sportsbook will become the presenting partner for the Jets Mobile App and will take advantage of the Jets’ brand new data partnership with Sportsradar.

The users of the Jets Mobile App will have access to special bonus and promotional offers by Fubo Sportsbook, as well as special promotions related to the lounge itself.

In turn, players registered with Fubo Sportsbook will receive access to special hospitality at the MetLife Stadium, with special VIP pregame experiences included in the package.

The sportsbook will also make use of the programmatic ads network which the Jets have access to thanks to their partnership with Sportsradar and their programmatic activation platform.

Pending final regulatory approvals, Fubo Sportsbook is set to launch in Q4 2021.

Fubo Gaming holds licenses and market access agreements in Arizona with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, and in Iowa with Casino Queen. The company also has market access agreements in Pennsylvania with The Cordish Companies and in Indiana and New Jersey with Caesars.
