partypoker Still in Second in New Jersey

The partypoker US Network, operating under the Borgata license and comprised of BetMGM Poker NJ, Borgata Poker NJ, and its namesake, partypoker, operates one of New Jersey’s three online poker networks. The others are run by PokerStars NJ and WSOP/888, through the land-based casino licenses of Resorts and Caesars, respectively.

Revenue data from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) show Borgata has been second banana to Caesars in terms of market share and revenue for seven straight months.

According to the NJDGE, Borgata made $733k in online poker revenue and held 33% of the market in June. By comparison, Caesars had $892k in online poker revenue and had a 40.5% share of the market.

NJDGE figures also show online poker revenue fell to a total of $2.2 million in June 2021, its lowest point since before the pandemic. The market hit a high of $5.1 million in April 2020.
