With the live games about to kick off in Las Vegas for the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP), series organizers have announced that even more gold hardware will be handed out. Every Sunday while the live series is ongoing in Vegas, there will be at least one online bracelet event on WSOP.com.
That means New Jersey residents who are stuck at home during the live series will still have a chance to win a Gold Bracelet. The newly announced games are similar to the online series held in 2019, when weekly online bracelet events ran alongside the live series.
While there will be significant numbers of entries from the Nevada side of the shared market of WSOP.com, especially in this case with the live series attracting so many out-of-towners to the state, the games will also be running in New Jersey. Most of the games will run at 5:30 pm ET in New Jersey every week starting October 3.

Ten bracelets added to record year
WSOP 2021 was already shaping up to be the biggest ever in terms of bracelets handed out. Even before these new bracelet events were announced, 2021 was set to give away more than 170 bracelets, compared to 99 in 2019, the previous record holder.
Originally, 66 of those bracelets were scheduled to be handed out online, with a 33-game US series that ran on WSOP.com in July, and another 33-game international series on GGPoker in August. The ten newly announced games bring the 2021 online bracelet total to 75.
That is not technically a record number of online bracelets. In the virtually all-virtual WSOP 2020, there were 85 bracelets awarded online, but only one bracelet awarded live. In a year with a near-normal live WSOP schedule, the 75 online bracelets mark a massive record.
WSOP Bracelets every Sunday
Starting October 3, every Sunday will feature at least one chance for New Jersey players to win a bracelet. The first Sunday, plus November 14, will each feature two bracelet events, while every other Sunday will feature one.
Most of the Sunday bracelet games will be no limit hold’em games of various kinds and sizes, but October 17 will feature the PLO Crazy 8’s 8-Max for $888.
The first double-bracelet day on October 3 shoots high and low, with the $5,300 NL Hold’em Freezeout at 3:30 pm ET and the $500 NL Hold’em BIG 500. The other double bracelet day on November 14 is all about the sevens with $777 and $7,777 Lucky 7’s No Limit games.
There is also a $1,000 Championship game running October 24, and a $1,000 Mini Main Event to finish the online portion off on November 21.
2021 was already set to hand out more bracelets than ever before, but now that number is even higher. There are ten new chances for New Jersey players to put poker’s biggest honor on their wrist, from the comfort of their own couch. See the schedule below to plan your shots.
