With the 2021 season of the PokerGO Tour reaching its final stages, the subscription-based streaming service has announced the full schedule of PokerGO Tour events for Q1 of 2022.
The schedule includes the Venetian High Roller, Stairway to Millions, PokerGO Cup, PokerGO Heads Up Championship, Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) Russia and the US Poker Open.
The high stakes action kicks off on January 5, 2022 with the Venetian High Roller. For the most part, the schedule for the early months looks similar to 2021, with all of the most popular events making a re-appearance.
The Venetian High Roller
The Venetian High Roller will consist of four high stakes tournaments hosted by Las Vegas’ The Venetian, with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 for each.
This event will represent only the first warm-up of the season, with more high stakes action for even higher buy-ins coming later in the year.
The Venetian High Roller will come back to the schedule in late February, with four more events held between February 23 and 26 with similar buy-ins.
Stairway to Millions
One of the more interesting events of the year on the PokerGO schedule is all-new the Stairway to Millions, which gives players of all levels a chance to gun for the big bucks.
Stairway to Millions begins on January 13 and continues through January 20, when the final event will be held.
Players will have the chance to enter the first flight of the tournament for just $1,000, progressing through the $2,000, $4,000, $8,000, $15,000, $25,000, $50,000 and the $100,000 levels.
Each player will have the opportunity to enter the event at any level they choose, giving them a chance to win up to $1,000,000 while investing just $1,000 to enter the first flight.
This exciting event is guaranteed to offer a lot of entertaining poker action, as the high rollers wait at the end of the line for the players from the earlier flights.
PokerGO Cup
Early days of February are reserved for the PokerGO Cup, an event that has had great success with poker fans in the past. It attracts the best poker players in the world to the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
The PokerGO Cup will kick things off with three $10,000 buy-in tournaments on February 2, 3 and 4, followed by one $15,000 event on February 5, two $25,000 events on February 6 and 7, a $50,000 buy-in on February 8 and the final $100,000 event on February 9.
This week of ultra-high stakes action will culminate in the PokerGO $100,000 Heads Up Championship, a tournament that will let the best players in the world go head-to-head with millions of dollars on the line.
Super High Roller Bowl Russia & US Poker Open
In March 2022, PokerGO takes us away from the US and into Sochi, Russia, a relatively new destination on the poker calendar, but one that has been drawing a lot of attention lately.
SHRB Russia will host some massive buy-in events in Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) and Short Deck Poker, with nosebleed buy-ins for all the events.
The SHRB Russia kicks off on March 4 with a $25,000 Short Deck event and will host a number of other tournaments including a $100,000 Short Deck event, a $250,000 NLH event and half a dozen other events with buy-ins between $25,000 and $50,000.
Just as the SHRB Russia ends, PokerGO travels back to Las Vegas for a brand-new edition of the US Poker Open, with 12 high stakes tournaments offering players a chance to compete in NLH, PLO and 8 Game.
