BetMGM has unveiled its latest iGaming product: Borgata Bingo has just gone live in New Jersey, offering the first 75-ball real money online bingo game in the US.

Borgata Bingo was developed by Entain exclusively for BetMGM and comes in two varieties: a 75-ball format and a 90-ball format.

Borgata Bingo provides players with an engaging digital gaming experience — one that builds upon the fun of live, in-person bingo,” said Matthew Sutherland, Vice President of Gaming for BetMGM. “We’re pleased to introduce this first-of-its-kind platform as we further expand the Borgata brand online.”

Borgata Bingo is available in New Jersey for desktop and mobile devices. The app comes in both Android and iOS versions, and can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store

As well as a full slate of bingo programming, the Borgata Bingo app also allows players to play Slingo and slot games, including BetMGM’s exclusive progressive jackpot games.

Borgata Bingo players will also be eligible for MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program — allowing them to build up loyalty points and use them for a range of benefits at MGM Resorts venues including:

  • Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Atlantic City
  • MGM Grand, Las Vegas
  • The Bellagio, Las Vegas
  • The Aria, Las Vegas
  • MGM National Harbor, Maryland
  • Beau Rivage, Mississippi

BetMGM’s Casinos Lead the Way

BetMGM is currently the market leader among NJ’s online casinos. It had a reported 30% gross gaming revenue (GGR) market share in the jurisdiction for October.

The operator generated $933,000 during the month — down 8.6% from September but up by a stunning 29% on the previous year’s corresponding figure.

The pattern is repeated at a national level, too. The operator tops the field, with a 32% GGR across the US as a whole, with live operations in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia, in addition to New Jersey.

The BetMGM umbrella of online casinos — which includes partycasino and Pala, as well as Borgata — had a gross turnover of $37.9 million across its US operations in October, a colossal 75% increase on the previous year’s figure of $21.4 million.

BetMGM Tops in Poker, Too

BetMGM is also currently the market leader among NJ’s online poker rooms. And whilst it has only held that position for two months, its growth in that time is nothing short of astounding, taking the lead from Ceasars for the first time since 2016.

The feat is all the more remarkable when you consider that Caesars was holding its WSOP online bracelet series during that period — an event which would normally have been expected to boost its numbers considerably.

However, the gap between BetMGM and Caesars remains wafer thin, with the former holding 38.5% market share and the latter 36%. PokerStars/Resorts is a long way back on 25.5%.

BetMGM recently concluded its End Boss Poker Series across all three states where it operates: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The series exceeded the guaranteed prize pools, and the New Jersey series attracted the most players.
