Greentube announced Wednesday that it had expanded its presence in the US through a new partnership in New Jersey with the partypoker US Network.
Vienna, Austria-based Greentube — the digital wing of world-famous gaming supplier Novomatic — said players on BetMGM Casino NJ, Borgata Casino NJ, and partycasino NJ now have access to its portfolio of online casino game titles, including Apollo God of the Sun, Prized Panda, and the Diamond Cash series of games.
In New Jersey, BetMGM, Borgata, and partycasino are all on the land-based casino license of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
“We are thrilled to be launching with such a prominent operator as BetMGM,” said David Bolas, Commercial Director for Greentube. “We really appreciate the importance of this partnership, as it will see our content added to their leading brands.
“It’s another very important step for us in the US market, where we have had a fantastic start. We are already preparing ourselves for our next launch in the state of Michigan.” Bolas did not offer a timeframe for Greentube’s launch in the Wolverine State.
Oliver Bartlett, Director of Gaming at BetMGM, added that for nearly 25 years, “Greentube has offered its quality, established content around the world, and BetMGM’s addition of its games further shows our commitment to providing players the largest portfolio in the industry.
“The innovative Diamond Cash titles are immersive and engaging and will surely be a hit with our player base.”
Greentube Debuted in the US in September 2021
Greentube debuted in the US via New Jersey through a partnership with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) in September 2021. At the time, the operator said it was “in the process of completing additional deals across numerous states as part of its expansion strategy for North America.”
In late January 2022, Greentube announced a partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI). The partnership saw Greentube launch an extensive portfolio of online slots for RSI’s SugarHouse brand.
The following month, the company received a supplier license in Michigan. When Greentube announced it had received the license, it said it was “preparing for future launches in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.”
Michigan Likely Next in Greentube’s US Expansion Plans
Since Greentube also has a license in Michigan, it seems likely that would be the next place where the company decides to expand its presence in the US.
Two possible online casino partners in Michigan are BetMGM Casino MI and BetRivers Casino MI, another RSI brand. BetMGM is partnered with the MGM Grand Detroit, while BetRivers has an operating agreement with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, which owns and operates Little River Casino Resort.
When it receives a license in Pennsylvania, Greentube will have many more online casinos to choose from to partner with. BetMGM Casino PA and Borgata Casino PA both operate in the Keystone State, as do RSI brands BetRivers Casino PA and SugarHouse Casino PA.
Greentube’s options are much more limited in Connecticut. There, the operator can either partner with DraftKings or FanDuel — each is partnered with one of the state’s two tribal casinos for iGaming.
