BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online have introduced Blueprint Gaming’s Game of Thrones slot in New Jersey, part of an exclusive US rollout that also reaches Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
BetMGM Casino is offering the game in all four states. Borgata Online has it in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences developed the title with Blueprint Gaming, and White Hat Studios distributed it through its House of Brands platform for regulated US iGaming markets.
The game is built around characters, settings and storylines from HBO’s Game of Thrones. It has six reels and 4,096 ways to win, with a persistent Money Collect mechanic tied to House Stark, House Lannister, House Baratheon and House Targaryen.
Players who land three or more bonus symbols enter the Iron Throne Bonus, which awards 10 free spins and further cash-prize opportunities. Four fixed jackpot levels pay 20, 50, 200 or 2,500 times the stake.
The US introduction follows the game’s April debut at BetMGM Casino in Ontario and its mid-July arrival in Alberta. The companies described the Canadian release as record-setting, while Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ranked the title fifth among Canada’s highest-performing new online-casino game launches.
Blueprint Gaming product director Charlie Jacka called Game of Thrones one of the supplier’s most ambitious House of Brands releases, saying it brought the franchise’s characters, soundtrack and world of Westeros to US players. Blueprint Gaming is part of Germany’s Merkur Group.
The launch adds a standard digital slot to the New Jersey catalogues of BetMGM and Borgata, which also added Awager’s live-streamed physical-slot product in the state in August, as we reported.
BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online are supporting the release with bonus-spin offers and leaderboard promotions. BetMGM’s $25,000 leaderboard competition runs from Oct. 5 through Oct. 11.
