PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel went live in Ontario on June 4, FanDuel said, extending the brand’s reach into Canada’s regulated market.
The move came as the platform continued running in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where FanDuel said players were connected through a shared network rather than separate state-based pools.
FanDuel reported that in the nine weeks since the platform’s launch, PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel had dealt more than 28 million poker hands.
In the U.S. market, Pokerfuse said the key difference was that the three states were connected through a shared player pool, with Pennsylvania also part of the network.
Pokerfuse also reported that FanDuel Poker led the market in Pennsylvania after generating more than $1 million in online poker revenue in April.
In Michigan, the MGCB approved FanDuel for multi-state internet poker between Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey effective April 1, 2026.
The MGCB said FanDuel’s new poker platform would use the PokerStars brand in Michigan, with MotorCity Casino serving as the Michigan operator partner for the poker product.
MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said Michigan players could have confidence in the integrity of the games they play, backed by the same rigorous oversight the MGCB applies across licensed gaming activity.
Ontario’s launch began June 4, 2026.
