Fans of tournament action in New Jersey have been really spoiled for choice this summer and it seems the trend is set to continue. Namely, WSOP NJ has just announced their Rio Online Circuit series, featuring more than $1,000,000 in guaranteed prizes and 12 WSOP Gold Rings up for grabs.
The series will kick off on Friday, August 20 and will last throughout the rest of the month, with one ring-awarding event taking place every day. The buy-ins are mostly in the $215 to $500 range, with a couple of high roller events thrown in the mix for those with bigger bankrolls.
Big Guarantees Across the Board
In the next 10 days, players will have a chance to compete in 12 different tournaments, offering a combined prize pool of more than $1,000,000. Of course, some of these tournaments will likely break the guarantee, but it is possible that some will feature an overlay as well, making them even more valuable for serious players.
On top of the first prize money, all winners will receive a WSOP Gold Ring as proof of their achievements, making the deal even sweeter.

Those looking to save some money can also try their luck playing satellites. There are all sorts of qualifying tournaments for the Online Circuit series running on WSOP, so check those out if you do not quite have the bankroll to enter directly or simply want to reduce your costs, especially if you are planning on playing the entire series.
Player of the Month Leaderboard and Freeroll Events
There is an additional incentive for the players to get involved with as many circuit events as possible presented in the form of the Player of the Month Leaderboard. The Leaderboard will award the top 10 players from the series with tournament tickets, while the winner will also receive an entry into the Year End Championships.
The Year End Championships is a special tournament offering $250,000 in guaranteed prizes and also a WSOP bracelet for the winner. The tournament will gather all Gold Ring winners, all players in the top 50 spots of the Cumulative Circuit Leaderboard, and the winner of the Grinder’s Only Second Chance Freeroll.
The Grinder’s Freeroll will take place on September 3, after the Rio Online Circuit concludes, and it will be open to all the players who participated in at least three ring-awarding events.
On the same day, starting half an hour earlier, there is also a $25,000 freeroll tournament open to all the ring winners from the series, as well as everyone finishing in the top 10 spots on the Player of the Month Leaderboard.
All in all, the next couple of weeks will be packed with the tournament action and ample opportunities to win big money. Of course, players who still do not have a WSOP NJ account are also eligible for a generous welcome bonus offer to give them some free funds to start and provide them with a nice boost on their first deposit.
