PokerStars on FanDuel is marking Independence Day with two freerolls for existing and new players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Each event carries a $250 prize pool and is branded the Freedom Rolls.

Players can enter without paying a fee, but they need a ticket to register. Both tournaments are freezeouts, so once a player busts, there is no second chance in the same event.

According to PokerNews, each Freedom Roll pays the top 50 finishers. The paid share of winnings comes in Spin & Goal tickets.

The first event starts at 10:00, with a second freeroll later in the day at 22:00. That gives players who miss the first shot another chance to play the holiday promotion.

The freerolls come after PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel launched in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as a dedicated poker app and desktop site. FanDuel said the combined network merges player liquidity across markets and forms one of the largest regulated online poker networks in North America.

At launch, the companies said players would get bigger games, larger prize pools and a broader selection of tournaments and cash games. FanDuel also said players across the three states would be able to join two $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Million tournaments and a $150,000 guaranteed No Sweat series.

The platform also offered a 100% matched deposit bonus up to $1,000 for new players, allowing a $1,000 deposit to unlock up to $2,000 in total play. The Independence Day promotion is available to U.S. players only and excludes Ontario players using the PokerStars on FanDuel Ontario platform.
