The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is only five months away! With the May start date looming, organizers are starting ramp up promotions giving away packages to the upcoming series.
A special promotion is currently running for players in New Jersey to secure a coveted seat in the 2024 WSOP Main Event.
The promotion is open to both new and existing players in NJ throughout the month. The winner of the freeroll will win a $10,000 entry to the Main Event — the biggest and most prestigious poker tournament of the year — to run July 3 to July 17.
Players must make a real money deposit by January 29, 2024 using the promo code EVENT24 in order to get a ticket to the freeroll. This tournament takes place on January 31.
The promotion from WSOP USA is running in all four regulated markets: Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Players within those states are also eligible to deposit and be part of this WSOP promotion.

To qualify for the freeroll, players just need to do the following:
- Log into their WSOP app — new players can register and still take advantage of the deal.
- Make a deposit and use code
EVENT24. he Main Event freeroll ticket will be added to the player’s account. - Use the ticket to register for the freeroll.
- Play the freeroll on January 29, at 8 pm ET.
Technically each freeroll winner will receive $10,000 worth of tournament buy-in credits — this means the player can use them all for a Main Event seat, or they can use them to participate in various WSOP Gold Bracelet events up until that value.
Anticipating the 2024 WSOP
As the calendar turns to 2024, players are eager for more information about the upcoming WSOP schedule. While details are still limited, the confirmed dates for the WSOP are May 28 to July 17 2024. The Main Event is confirmed to start on July 3. The Main Event will feature four starting flights on July 3, 4, 5, and 6.

In 2023, the WSOP Main Event shattered attendance records, surpassing the 10,000-player mark and surpassing the previous record set in 2006. With live poker continuing to capture the interest of enthusiasts, expectations are high for the 2024 event to attract similar numbers.
Apart from the Main Event, WSOP has confirmed the return of three popular tournaments: Millionaire Maker, Mystery Millions, and Seniors Championship.
There are also hopes that by the time the WSOP announces WSOP Online events in New Jersey, the WSOP software will have been upgraded!
