Jackpocket, the leading online lottery app in the US, has announced the full launch of its first online casino platform in New Jersey in partnership with Caesars Interactive Gaming NJ.

This makes Jackpocket the first lottery platform to enter the online casino space in the US, paving the way for future expansion into new states and other entertainment and gaming verticals.

The new NJ online casino was was slated to launch in 2022 and secured sports partnerships two years ago in preparation to launch. However, due to unknown delays, it wasn’t soft-launched until November 2023. Now, it is fully available to players in New Jersey, with hundreds of quality casino games available for play via desktop and mobile devices.

New and existing Jackpocket users can access both the lottery and the online casino products via the same downloadable Jackpocket app, which is available for both iOS and Android-powered mobile devices.

Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan commented in the company’s press release: “This launch immediately expands Jackpocket’s entertainment offerings in New Jersey and will do the same for fans in other markets in the future. As the iGaming space continues to grow, we’re excited to provide our engaged lottery user base with an easy and fun way to get involved in games we know they already love.”

A New Competitor in a Thriving iGaming Market

As Jackpocket launches its first online casino in the US, it is worth noting that it is doing so in a highly competitive market, as New Jersey already offers quite a few online casino apps, being one of the first states to launch legal igaming back in 2013.

Jackpocket Casino NJ will be operating under a license by Caesars Interactive Gaming, a company that already operates in the NJ igaming market and is a competitor for one of the top spots in terms of revenue, which should be significantly increased with the launch of Jackpocket Casino.

As the new casino platform joins a competitive market of Venmo online casinos already running in the state, it will be looking to convert its existing base of lottery players into slots and table game players in the coming months.

What Is Jackpocket?

The company served exclusively as a lottery courier for the previous five years, and has sold millions of tickets over that period, with $69 in taxes alone paid from tickets sold via Jackpocket.

Now, the company has begun its expansion into other gaming verticals, with the launch of the online casino platform in New Jersey only the first step in what promises to be an exciting journey.

Players who join Jackpocket Casino NJ will now be gaining access to both the lottery and the casino platforms and will be offered a choice between a casino and a lottery bonus on their first deposit.

Whether you choose to play casino games, lottery, or both, the Jackpocket platform guarantees security, easy and fast banking, and a lot of exciting entertainment options for a wide range of audiences.
