Caesars Entertainment has launched Remote Roulette for Caesars Palace Online Casino customers in New Jersey, allowing them to join a live roulette game streamed from the Tropicana Atlantic City casino floor.
The product, announced Sept. 21, uses Evolution’s Dual Play Roulette technology. Online customers and guests standing at the physical table can place bets in the same game, with each spin taking place on the Tropicana floor and outcomes shared in real time.
Remote Roulette is available in the operator’s Live Casino section and can be accessed by players located anywhere in New Jersey. Matthew Sunderland, Caesars Digital’s senior vice president and chief iGaming officer, said the format meant players at Tropicana and those using a phone through Caesars Palace Online were participating in the same game.
The launch is Caesars’ second remote gameplay experience at Tropicana, following Remote Reels. That earlier product gives online customers remote access to physical slot machines in a 937-square-foot casino-floor studio containing 25 machines, extending the company’s effort to make land-based games available through its online casino.
The roulette launch arrives as Caesars’ New Jersey iGaming operations generated more than $210 million through August, up 11% from a year earlier, according to WDHA FM. Evolution, the technology supplier, says it provides online casino products to about 870 operator customers and employs more than 22,200 people across studios in Europe, North America and Latin America.
