Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey Mega Jackpot was sitting around $1.65 million, and any eligible spin could still land it. According to PlayNJ, the pool could move past $2 million if it follows the pattern set by the most recent payout.

Since the jackpot launched in April, it has produced three seven-figure winners and nearly $6 million in payouts across three hits. Two of those wins set new highs, including Deborah S.’s $1,942,272.47 prize on 11 May on a $1 spin of Bag the Swag: Hold & Win and a $1,937,382.05 hit less than a month later on a $2 spin of Hot Rod Hog.

The largest prize came on 4 July, when Hard Rock Bet said a $2 spin paid $2,097,043.30 on Silver Lux — Sevens Hold’em Respin. The company said that was the first time the Mega tier had cleared $2 million and the biggest single payout in Hard Rock Bet Online Casino history.

The network is built around four progressive tiers, Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. Each qualifying spin adds 20 cents, and the Mega tier seeds at $100,000 in New Jersey before climbing until someone triggers it. Players can opt in from the Hard Rock Bet homepage or from within any eligible game, and the feature spans more than 4,300 eligible games in the state.

The trigger is random, and bet size does not change the odds. PlayNJ said the growth of New Jersey’s online casino market has given operators more incentive to promote big-money progressive features.

Hard Rock Bet’s comparison with Michigan shows a smaller version of the same idea there: the Mega tier seeds at $5,000 and adds 10 cents per spin. PlayNJ said Michigan’s Mega Jackpot had hit six times since 20 March, with payouts of roughly $224,000 to $225,000 each and a total of about $1.35 million.
