PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel launched in Ontario on June 4, 2026, extending the operator’s PokerStars-branded offering beyond the US states where it launched earlier in the year (FanDuel, via its announcement on the FanDuel site, and PokerNews’ coverage of Ontario’s regulated start date).
Earlier, PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel launched in April across Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with FanDuel saying the partnership created one of the largest regulated online poker networks in North America (FanDuel). The operator also described its first poker offering as connecting sportsbook, casino and poker under a single wallet (FanDuel).
In the nine weeks since launch, FanDuel said PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel had dealt more than 28 million poker hands (FanDuel).
FanDuel and PokerStars also tied the expansion to shared liquidity across the US markets, with Pokerfuse describing the three states as connected through a shared player pool (PRNewswire and Pokerfuse).
The April launch package included shared access to two $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Million tournaments for players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan, along with a $150,000 guaranteed “No Sweat” series and a full schedule of tournaments and cash games (PRNewswire).
In Michigan, the state’s regulators approved multi-state internet poker with FanDuel effective April 1, 2026, with Michigan’s MGCB saying the poker platform will use the PokerStars brand and that MotorCity Casino will be the Michigan operator partner (MGCB).
Pennsylvania’s position in the shared-liquidity effort was still evolving at the time of PokerStars’ May 8 statement to Poker.org. PokerStars told Poker.org that it would not join the Pennsylvania shared liquidity initiative “in the short term,” but it also said it is committed to the long-term growth of the game (Poker.org). By the time of Pokerfuse’s May reporting, Pokerfuse described Pennsylvania as part of the shared player pool network for PokerStars on FanDuel (Pokerfuse).
