Unibet announced on Friday its launch of Eagles Live Dealer Blackjack, a live dealer game with a Philadelphia Eagles theme, for its customers in New Jersey.
A launch in neighboring Pennsylvania has not yet been announced but is likely to happen, considering the operator’s long ties with the NFL team.
The new live dealer game was created by Evolution Gaming and was made possible through Unibet’s partnership with the Eagles, which is now entering its third year.
“Evolution has created another world-class live dealer game that allows our customers to interact with real casino dealers through an internet video feed,” said Manuel Stan, Senior Vice President for Kindred US, the Kindred Group subsidiary that owns the Unibet brand.

The game is available for download on the iOS and Android platforms, as well as on the desktop or mobile Unibet Casino NJ website.
Unibet Focused on NJ, PA First
When Unibet — a brand under international gaming giant Kindred’s umbrella — first came to the US in 2019, the first two states the operator focused on were New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which make up most of the Philadelphia metro area.
Unibet launched its first online casino product in the US in New Jersey in June 2019, under the land-based casino license of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Three months later, it launched an online sportsbook in the Garden State through the same partnership.
The operator then expanded into Pennsylvania in September 2019 when it opened its retail sportsbook at the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Unibet Sportsbook PA launched online through the Mohegan Sun Pocono license in November 2019. That same month, it entered into a partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles and became the team’s official casino partner. The partnership was expanded in October 2020 to make Unibet an official sportsbook partner of the NFL team.
October 2020 was also when Unibet launched Eagles Blackjack for its customers in Pennsylvania. Three months later, in January 2021, the operator unveiled The Eagles Online Slot. At the time of both launches, Unibet claimed that the games were the first of their kind in the US to have a professional sports team theme.
In November 2020, Unibet announced that it would launch live dealer games in Pennsylvania through Evolution’s studio in Philadelphia. It began by offering live dealer blackjack and roulette.
Unibet is also partnered with the Eagles’ in-state NFL rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. It became an official sportsbook partner of the Steelers in August 2021 and launched Pittsburgh Steelers Blackjack in November 2021.
The operator is currently offering live dealer versions of Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Steelers Blackjack, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker in Pennsylvania.
By comparison, Unibet’s live dealer games currently on offer in the neighboring state of New Jersey include Baccarat, Eagles Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Auto Roulette, Live Blackjack, NJ Roulette, Slingshot Roulette, and Three Card Poker.
