Yggdrasil has entered the US online-casino market through Caesars Entertainment, with its games now live on Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino in New Jersey and Michigan. The rollout starts with Valley of the Gods, and more titles are expected in the coming months.
According to iGaming Business, the launch is Yggdrasil’s first-ever presence in the US online-casino market. The integration was made possible through Aristocrat Interactive.
Valley of the Gods first launched in 2017. Yggdrasil describes it as one of its most successful and popular games worldwide, a 5×5 slot inspired by Ancient Egypt with multipliers, respins, extra lives and hidden treasure blocks.
Aurora Armaro, Yggdrasil’s head of region LatAm and USA, called the US launch a major milestone and said the partnership was “the first of many opportunities to bring premium content to players across the North American market.”
Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, vice president of online gaming at Caesars Digital, said the deal reinforces Caesars’ commitment to fresh and entertaining gaming experiences across its online casino platforms. He said Caesars was proud to introduce Yggdrasil’s content to players in Michigan and New Jersey and looked forward to building a strong partnership.
The launch also fits a broader expansion that Yggdrasil has described in its own corporate presentation. It said it had a North American partnership with IGT and launched its first batch of games in 2022, alongside about 250 games, about 170 B2B partners and about 750 online brands using its content. The presentation says the company processes more than 220 million transactions a week and supports regulated markets including the UK, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Italy and Denmark.
