PokerStars on FanDuel has announced the September Dynasty Series, a new tournament schedule that will run from 12 September to 28 September on both its US poker platform and PokerStars on FanDuel Ontario. The US portion will offer 100 events, while Ontario will get 61.
On the US side, the operator said the series will pay out $3.5 million across the schedule for players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the three states linked by its shared-liquidity network. Buy-ins start at $10 and rise to a $1,500 High Roller on 27 September.
The centrepiece is a $300 Main Event that runs over two days, on 27 and 28 September, with at least $350,000 in prize money. A $50 Mini Main Event will carry a $75,000 guarantee, and the schedule also includes no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha and PLO5 tournaments. PokerStars on FanDuel said a leaderboard will run during the series, with more details due next week.
Ontario will get the platform’s first tournament series, with buy-ins from C$30 to C$1,500. The schedule is limited to no-limit hold’em and includes regular, PKO and mystery bounty events, though guarantees for the Canadian side had not been announced at the time of the release.
The new series builds on the platform’s earlier rollout. As reported in June, PokerStars on FanDuel had already gone live in Ontario after launching in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, extending a shared player pool that regulators in Michigan approved for multistate internet poker on 1 April.
Michigan’s gaming board said at the time that the platform would use the PokerStars brand in the state and that MotorCity Casino would serve as the operator partner. The board also noted that Michigan joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement in 2022, ending the old arrangement in which local players could only compete against others physically inside the state.
